미얀마 민주화 투쟁을 지원하기 위한 “아! 미얀마展“이 2021년 6월 16일(수) ~ 6월 21일(월)까지 서울 명동성당 지하 갤러리1898에서 열린다.

6.16.첫날 개막전시회는 강창훈 작가 등 34명의 기증작가 작품전과 서숙양 화가 등 초대작가 7인전으로 막을 열었다.

평화와 관련된 창작 작품으로 전시 및 판매를 하여 일부 수익금은 미얀마 민주화 투쟁 기금으로 기탁되어 문화예술이 세계 평화와 자유 발전에 기여하는 긍정의 힘을 전달할 예정이다.

첫날 개막행사는 오후 4시 코로나19사회적거리유지관계로 제한된 초청인범위에서 1)염수정 추기경의 인사말씀에 이어 2)차만태 전시행사추진위원장(주식회사 엔제이아트 회장) 3)카잉 카잉 모택 주한미얀마청년연대 회장의 인사말씀 순으로 진행되었다.

주한 미얀마 스님도 함께했다.

Fundraiser for Myanmar‘s Democratic Fundraiser! Donor writers exhibition and invitation artists will be held for seven people.

“Ah!“ to support Myanmar‘s struggle for democracy. Myanmar Exhibition“ will be held at the underground gallery 1898 of Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul from June 16 (Wednesday) to June 21, 2021.

On the first day of June 16, the opening exhibition was held with 34 donated artists, including Kang Chang-hoon, and seven exhibitions of invited artists, including Seo Sook-yang.

Some of the proceeds will be donated to Myanmar‘s Democratic Fighting Fund by exhibiting and selling creative works related to peace, delivering positive power for culture and art to contribute to the development of world peace and freedom.

The opening day of the event will be held at 4:00 p.m. on a limited range of invitees due to the Covid-19 social distancing relationship. 1) Following Cardinal Yeom Soo-jung‘s greeting,2) Chairman of the Exhibition Event Promotion Committee Cha Man-tae (Chairman of CJ Art Co., Ltd.) 3) It was followed by a greeting from Kaing Kaing Motaek, chairman of MYannma Youth Alliance in Korea in the order of greeting.

A Buddhist monk in Myanmar, living in Korea was also present.

◆염수정 추기경 미얀마 현지방문 소회 토로

특히 염수정 추기경은 자신은 직접 미얀마를 방문하고 왔다며 현지의 암울한 참상을 무거운 마음으로 전했다.

염 추기경은 교황의 메시지도 전한 바, 현지 상황을 보고받은 교황은 “이번 사태는 누가 이기고 지는 게 중요한 게 아니다. 모두가 하느님안에서 한 형제가 되는 것이 중요하다“고 했다며 역시 종교적인 차원의 격조높은 평화메시지를 전했다.

본지는 이날 행사 주최의 하이라이트인 재한 미얀마청년연대 카잉카잉 모택(한국명 서예은) 회장과 직접인터뷰를 가졌다.

첫날 개막전 북새통이라 순간인터뷰(5분정도)... 절망상태에서 분투중인 고국의 국민을 위한 속내의 응원지지 황금메시지를 부탁했다.

동시에 미얀마 국민들의 피어린 민주화투쟁을 지지응원하는 전 세계 자유민주시민을 향한 메시지이기도 했다.

마침 옆에 있던 차만태 추진위원장과 기증작가 혜미화가 부부가 자리를 같이했다.

순간인터뷰후 혜미화가의 ‘분노‘작품앞에서 기념촬영도 했다.

저는 1980년 한국의 광주5·18민주항쟁때 하루 전날 체포되어 감옥에 있었습니다.
참혹한 미얀마 국민의 민주항쟁 소식에 저의 일처럼 가슴이 저려옵니다.

재한 미얀마청년연대 회장... 정말 어려운 일입니다. 깊은 감동을 받습니다.
◆ Cardinal Yeom Soo-jung‘s visit to Myanmar on-site.

Cardinal Yeom also delivered the Pope‘s message, saying, “It‘s not important who wins and loses in this situation.“ “It‘s important for everyone to be one brother in God,“ He said. “It‘s also a religious message of peace.

The magazine held a direct interview with the chairman of the Myanmar Youth Solidarity, living in Korea, the highlight of the event.

The first day of the opening, it was a rush, so we had a quick interview. He asked for a golden message of support for the people of his homeland struggling in despair.

At the same time, it was a message to free democratic citizens around the world in support of Myanmar‘s Peerin pro-democracy struggle.

Cha Man-tae, chairman of the promotion committee, and the donor artist Hye-mi couple sat next to him.

I‘m a reporter for a local newspaper in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

I was arrested a day before the Gwangju May 18 Democratic Uprising in 1980 and was in prison.

My heart aches like my work at the news of the terrible Myanmar people‘s democratic uprising.

President of Myanmar Youth Solidarity in Korea... It‘s very difficult. I‘m deeply moved.

◆카잉 카잉 모택 회장, ‘미얀마 혁명은 성공한다‘

본지에 직접 메시지 미얀마어로 선물 ---

“(카잉 카잉 모택 회장. 놀라는 표정을 지으며)아. 그랬습니까? 감사합니다.

-. 미얀마 국민과 세계 시민들을 향해 ‘미얀마 민주화를 위하여’라는 메시지를 미얀마어로 부탁드립니다.

우리도 함께한다,우리도 함께 하자는 뜻입니다. 기자의 의도도 전했다.

사실상 인터뷰가 아닌 기자의 준비된 메시지에 대한 미얀마어의 사인 부탁이었다.

그런데 카잉 카잉 모택 회장은 엄중한 표정을 지으며 단호했다.

‘아닙니다. 미얀마의 민주화를 위하여”가 아닌 ’미얀마의 혁명은 성공한다“라고 하겠습니다”

더 강렬한 투쟁구호가 아닌가!

순간 기자는 뇌리에 ‘번개’가 번쩍하는 듯했다.

“미얀마의 청년은 목숨을 던지는 ‘고국 미얀마 국민들의 민주혁명의 성공’을 확신하고 있었다.

“Everything will be Okey!”

완이화의 처연한 외침이 다시 가슴을 깊숙이 저며왔다.

◆ Chairman Kaiing Kaiing Motaek says Myanmar‘s democratic revolution succeeds‘

Direct message to this paper in Myanmar ---

◆<불타는 나의조국,미얀마의 슬픈 현실을 바라보며>

이날 개막전에서 밝힌 카잉카잉 모택 회장의 인사말이다.

“...지난 2월 1일,미얀마 군부의 쿠테타가 시작되었다는 소식을 방송을 통해 알게되어 한국에서 직장생활을 하고 있던 저는 충격을 금치못했으나,

즉시 미얀마청년들을 모아 민주화투쟁을 위한 재한 미얀마청년연대를 조직했습니다.”며 평범한 한국직장인생활을 하던 그녀의 혁명투사로서의 변신계기를 밝혔다.

이어 그는 “우리가 가장 먼저해야할일은 미얀마 군부의 부당함을 국제사회에 알려 미얀마에서 민주화투쟁을 하고 있는 청년들과 동맹하여 조속한 시일내에 군부를 종식시키기 위함”이었다고 했다.

이어 카잉 카잉 모택 회장은 “우리의 연락으로 미얀마청년들은 전국 각지에서 대전 KTX역사 앞에 모여 공식적인 민주화투쟁운동을 시작했고,

명동성당앞에서 한국청년들과 함께 민주화 촛불집회를 열었고,염수정 추기경님을 비롯하여 국회를 방문하여 (국회)의원님들을 만나 미얀마해방을 위한 지지운동을 부탁하며 그동안 숨가쁘게 하루 하루를 보냈왔습니다.”며 명동성당과의 인연의 배경도 설명했다.

한편, 카잉 카잉 모택 회장은 “이 전시회를 기획하고 준비해주신 ‘아트팩토리 차만’의 차만태 회장과 미얀마군부의 쿠테타를 반대하고,

평화와 관련된 작품을 만들어주신 40여 명의 미술작가 여러분께 미얀마 국민을 대신하여 진심으로 감사드린다”하고,

“여러분의 미얀마를 사랑하는 마음은 우리가 평생 잊을 수 없을 것입니다”며 깊은 사의를 표했다.

1980.5·18민주항쟁때 해외에 있었던 한국청년들의 마음을 보는 것같아 가슴이 뭉클하다.

◆ <Looking at the sad reality of Myanmar, my burning country>

This is a greeting from Chairman Kaing Kaing, who announced at the opening match.

“...I was shocked to hear about the start of the Myanmar military coup on February 1st, while I was working in Korea,

“I immediately gathered young people from Myanmar in Korea to organize the Myanmar Youth Alliance for Democracy.“

She said, revealing her opportunity to transform into a revolutionary fighter who lived in a normal Korean workplace.

She then said, “The first thing we had to do was to inform the international community of the injustice of Myanmar‘s military and to end the military as soon as possible by allied with young people fighting for democracy in Myanmar.“

“With our contact, young people in Myanmar gathered in front of Daejeon KTX Station from all over the country to launch an official pro-democracy movement.

“I held a democratic candlelight vigil with young Koreans in front of Myeong-dong Cathedral, and visited the National Assembly, including Cardinal Yeom Soo-jung, and met with lawmakers to ask for support for the liberation of Myanmar.“

Meanwhile, Chairman Kaing Kaing said, “We oppose the coup of Cha Man-tae and Myanmar‘s military for planning and organizing the exhibition.

“I sincerely thank the 40 artists who made peace-related works on behalf of the people of Myanmar.“

“We will never forget your love for Myanmar,“ she said.

It is touching to see the hearts of young Koreans who were abroad during the 1980 May 18 Democratic Uprising.

◆차만태 회장 현장 인터뷰

오후 4시 개막식 테이프 컷팅 ---

본지 청소년 담당 윤태한 기자와 함께 ‘오전 10시 공식 오픈행사’로 알고 명동성당에 갔다. 그런데 오후 4시임을 알고 작품을 관람하는데 마침 차만태 회장을 만났다.

-. (유윤석 본지 발행인) 회장님,우리는 광진구 로컬신문입니다.
제가 오전 10시 오픈행사로 알고 왔는데 오후 4시군요.

마침 잘됐습니다. 오후 공식오픈행사때는 엄청 북새통일테니 지금 인터뷰 가능하시겠습니까?

“아.예. 좋습니다“

-.우리가 5·18광주민주항쟁의 아픈 역사를 겪었는데요.
이번 미얀마 민주화운동지원 작품전은 정말 의미가 와 닿습니다.

어떤 계기로 이 전시회를 기획하셨나요?

“(차만태 추진위원장):예. 이 전시회는 미얀마 국민들의 (민주화)투쟁을 지지하고,평화와 자유민주주의를 거부하는 군부의 만행을 규탄하는 전시행사입니다”했다.

-. 향후 전망은요?

저는 이 행사가 해외 전시로 이어져 미얀마의 민주주의가 승리하는 기폭제가 되길 희망하는 바입니다.“며 국제연대로의 확산을 기대했다.

◆ On-site. interview, Chairman Cha Man-tae

I went to Myeongdong Cathedral with Yoon Tae-han, a reporter in charge of youth in this paper, as I thought it was an official open event at 10 a.m. However, I was looking at the work knowing that it was 4 p.m. when I met Chairman Cha Man-tae.

This Myanmar pro-democracy movement support work exhibition is very meaningful. How did you plan this exhibition?

“(Cha Man-tae, chairman of the Promotion Committee): Yes. The exhibition is an exhibition that condemns the atrocities of the military, which supports the struggle of the people of Myanmar and rejects peace and liberal democracy.“

- What‘s your future prospects?

I hope this event will lead to overseas exhibitions and serve as a catalyst for Myanmar‘s democracy to win.“We expected the spread to international solidarity.
