2017년 친환경 상자텃밭 보급사업
-개인과 어린이집, 학교, 복지관 등 단체에 총 1500세트 공급예정-

봄을 맞이해 광진구(구청장 김기동)가 베란다, 옥상 등 주거공간을 활용해 녹색공간을 만들고 도심 속 생활농업을 활성화하기 위해‘2017년 친환경 상자텃밭 보급사업’을 시행한다.

상자텃밭은 상자에 흙과 퇴비를 섞어 담고 모종이나 씨앗을 심어 친환경적으로 재배할 수 있으며 상자하단 투입구를 통해 자동급수가 되어 식물에 물을 직접 뿌리지 않아도 간편하게 재배할 수 있는 기능성 텃밭이다. 키가 큰 작물을 재배 시 지지대 설치가 용이한 40ℓ형 스마트 기능성 상자텃밭과 50ℓ형 대용량 기능성 상자텃밭을 배부하며, 상자텃밭은 구민이 직접 재배하고 있는 유형으로 선택해 신청할 수 있도록 했다.

구는 올해 상자텃밭 총 1500세트를 개인과 어린이집, 학교, 복지관 등 단체에 배부할 예정이다.

상자텃밭 구성품은 상자틀, 배양토, 모종, 사용설명서 등이며 개인은 가구당 최대 3세트까지, 단체는 5세트까지 신청할 수 있다. 또한 참가자는 상자텃밭 구입비용의 20%인 8천원만 부담하면 된다.

신청은 구민 또는 광진구에 주소를 둔 단체라면 누구나 가능하며, 지난 13일부터 오는 21일까지 주소지 관할 동 주민센터에 방문하거나 구 홈페이지(http://www.gwangjin.go.kr/kr)에 접속해 접수하면 된다.

신청이 마감되면 무작위 전산 추첨으로 대상자를 선정해 오는 24일 구청 홈페이지에 결과를 발표하고 대상자에게 문자로 알려줄 예정이다. 당첨자는 다음 달 13일까지 신청한 동 주민센터를 통해 상자텃밭을 받아볼 수 있다.

아울러 구는 참가자들에게 상자텃밭 보급사업에 대한 참여도와 이해도를 높이기 위해, 다음달 11일 오후 2시 구청 대강당에서‘상자텃밭 보급관련 설명회’를 개최한다. 강좌는 서울시농업기술센터 도시농업 전문가가 나와 텃밭 가꾸는 요령 및 제품설명을 안내할 예정이다.

한편 구는 지난해에도 상자텃밭 보급사업을 실시한 결과 568명에게 1580세트를 배부했다.
김기동 광진구청장은“많은 구민들이 상자텃밭을 신청해 집에서 편리하게 식물을 키우며, 수확의 기쁨도 맛보고 가족과 소통하는 시간을 가져보기 바란다”며,“앞으로도 구 특성에 맞는 도시농업 정책을 적극 추진해 사람과 자연이 어우러진 녹색도시를 조성하는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
